En la IED de El Pantano, Sede Centro Educativo, hace poco la Alcaldía Distrital adjudico dieciséis millones setecientos treinta y cuatro mil pesos en sesenta y siete metros cuadrados, también con cincuenta sillas y veinticinco mesas. Además hay dos aulas destinadas a informática donde cada aula contará con treinta equipos que están en funcionamiento.

METODOLOGIA Las clases se dictan teniendo en cuenta la modalidad o énfasis de los alumnos, ya que se dan dos asignaturas en sala: • TECNOLOGIA E INFORMATICA: Que corresponde a todos los avances tecnológicos e informáticos que se han descubierto hasta el momento, tales como operación de sistemas operativos, suites, Internet, etc. • OPTATIVA 1 (MANTENIMIENTO DE COMPUTADORES): Teniendo en cuenta la profundidad del bachiller en este campo se desarrollan módulos en la sala que apoyan dicha formación, tales como: INSTALACION DE SOFTWARE, REDES, MANTENIMIENTO PREVENTIVO, INTERNET.

  5. DESCRIPCION DE LA SALA Además de los 30 Equipos de cómputo la sala cuenta con: • Mesas totalmente adaptadas para el trabajo en computador • Reguladores por cada Equipo • Servidor compartel • Cableado Estructurado UTP CAT 5 (Es el sistema colectivo de cables, canalizaciones, conectores, etiquetas, espacios y demás dispositivos que deben ser instalados para establecer una infraestructura de telecomunicaciones genérica en un edificio o campus. )
