FP6 (1) • FP6 objectives: • To strengthen the scientific and technological bases of [European] industry • To encourage the international competitiveness [of European industry] while promoting research activities in support of other EU policies • FP6 scope: • 2002-2006 • 17.5 billion euros (4 to 5% of RTD in EU) • 15% budget reserved for SMEs • Involvement of non-EU countries FP6 Plan of Campaign
