Challenge Badges and the Chief Scout’s Awards • Challenge Awards link closely with Programme Zones • Many of the Badge requirements offer greater opportunity and flexibility. • Complete the Challenge Awards and you work towards the Chief Scout’s Award
14-25 Awards • Chief Scouts Platinum Award(Explorer Scouts only) • linked to Bronze D of E Award • Chief Scouts Diamond Award • linked to Silver D of E Award • Queen Scout’s Award • linked to Gold D of E

16-25 Explorer Belt • Over 16 year olds • 10 day expedition in foreign country • In a small group • Covering: • 1 major project • 10 minor projects
Explorer Scout Young Leaders’ Scheme • Open to ALL Explorer Scouts • 11 Modules • Module A compulsory within 3 months • 4 missions
