PROJECT OVERVIEW • The Mississippi Community College Board (MCCB) is charged with the oversight of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC), which is a consortium of 15 community colleges. • The MSVCC adopts instructional technologies to support and enhance all modalities (online, face-to-face, hybrid) of learning. • Through the MSVCC, online courses enrollment are shared through a unique host/provider model. • Canvas by Instructure is the learning management system( LMS) utilized by the 15 community colleges supporting 60,000 FTE annually. PROJECT OVERVIEW • The proposed system must integrate with MCCB’s current LMS, Canvas, to provide web-conferencing and instant messaging functionalityregardless of device (mobile or desktop) or operating system. • The proposed solution may be used to facilitate the following: • Instructor/student interactions and communications • Administrative meetings • Synchronous and Asynchronous chat • Consortium wide communication • Collaboration of crossed student enrollment through host/provider model RFP No. 3955
