  2. CNLSC Status • Oct 2004, CNIS Team – Finished and submitted Simplified Chinese translation of UBL1.0 spreadsheets • Jan 2005, CECID Team – Submitted Traditional Chinese translation of UBL1.0 spreadsheets (based on the Simplified Chinese translation)

  3. Future Works • Translation of the remaining materials – depending on needs • Translation of library contents into Chinese helps making useful interface • Reference materials could be in English • Adoption • DTTN case: use of UBL approach (using EDIFIX) to define 60 documents for 9 industries

  4. Digital Trade and Transportation Network • Electronic platform to enable companies in 9 logistics industries to transact through exchange of electronic documents • Document standard developed using UBL approach (mainly UBL components/types and NDR) • Input from and endorsed by advisory and technical committees of HK logistics experts • Referenced existing paper/electronic documents (UBL as a primary reference) used internationally and in HK • Will be open for public on completion • DTTN Standards Advisory Group intends to submit document standard to UBL TC • Resourceful input for future development of UBL library content
