Code of Conduct • No Hats/ Head Gear • No Gang Wear (Flags, Beads, Colors, etc.) • No Hoods • No Jackets/Coats • Cover the 3 B’s • No Weapons, Tobacco or Alcohol • No Cell Phones, MP3, Gaming
Classroom Procedures • Enter Classroom Appropriately • Get Needed Items (point sheet, homework, books, pencils etc.) • Leave Book Bag and Jacket in your nook • Hand in Point Sheet/Homework • Sharpen Pencils • Begin Work
Level System • Daily Grades are averaged on Thursday • Weekly Grades translate to levels • Level 4: 85% or higher • Level 3: 75% - 84% • Level 2: 65% - 74% • Level 1: 69% or lower
Level OneFailing • Lunch/Breakfast Detention • No Snacks/Hot Chocolate etc. • No Friday Activity • Hall Restriction
Level TwoPassing • Friday Activity • Social Breakfast/Lunch
Level ThreeAverage • Snacks • Hot Chocolate • Free Computer Time • Friday Activity
Level FourAbove Average • Level 2 and 3 Privileges • Dollar Store Box • Principal’s Lunch (3 out of 4 weeks )
Monthly Principal Lunch • No Referrals • Level 4 for three out of four weeks in the month • 95% Attendance
Detention Lunch • Eat in Classroom • No Socializing
Use of Time Out • Minimal time served is 5 minutes • Time out may result in lunch detention • Cannot put yourself in time out without approval from teaching staff
Use of ALC • Fighting • Leaving classroom w/o permission • Time Out is ineffective • Written referral and -25 on point sheet (general behavior) • 0% for that class
Absent Procedure • Bring a note the NEXT day • Check the hanging folders for missed work • YOU are responsible for ALL missed work and will not be able to participate in Friday Activity until ALL work is completed. • You will have a REASONABLE time to make up the work before consequences are given on point sheet.
