  1. The Ugly Duckling By : Willow

  2. Beginning • The first part of this story was ok, especially when all of the normal ducklings were born. • After every single little egg hatched there was this big egg that didn’t hatch yet. • After a while it hatched and all of the little ducklings laughed at how big he was.

  3. Middle • In the middle of this story the big ugly duckling couldn’t do anything all of the other ducklings could do. • Like swim in a line, or fly just off of the ground.

  4. Ending • At the end the big ugly duckling found someone who would take him in. • He stayed with a black swan flock, and he learned how to fly. • For the first time.

  5. Summary • This was a really sad book and it taught me not to discriminate people for whatever they look like or do.
