The Ugly Duckling. It’s summer. Mother Duck has got six eggs. Five eggs break and five yellow ducklings come out. But the sixth egg doesn’t break. - Oh dear, this egg is very big. Finally, the sixth egg breaks and a big grey duckling comes out. - Oh no. This duckling is ugly! - says Mother Duck.

It’s summer. Mother Duck has got six eggs. Five eggs break and five yellow ducklings come out. But the sixth egg doesn’t break.
-Oh dear, this egg is very big. Finally, the sixth egg breaks and a big grey duckling comes out.-Oh no. This duckling is ugly!- says Mother Duck
Later that day Mother Duck decides to visit her friend the Hen. -Come on ducklings. Let’s go and visit the Hen. Walk behind your brothers and sisters. I don’t want anybody to see you. You’re ugly! The Ugly Duckling is sad. They all go and visit the Hen. -You’re all so pretty. But what is that? Look! That duckling is silly! He has got short legs. He’s grey. His beak is silly. He’s an ugly duckling. Everybody laughs. The Ugly Duckling is very upset and embarrassed.
The Ugly Duckling walks and walks. He sees a house. An old woman lives there. She’s cooking.-Mmmm, that food smells good! I’m hungry- says the Ugly Duckling.-Hello, you’re a funny duckling. Are you hungry? Eat this food.
-We, don’t like you!-You’re ugly.-Go away, Ugly Duckling.The Ugly Duckling is sad again. He leaves the house.
It’s autumn now. It’s cold. The ugly duckling sees some white birds. They are beautiful.-Hello! You’re beautiful. Who are you?- says the Ugly Duckling. But the white birds don’t hear the Ugly Duckling. The Ugly Duckling wants to fly but his wings are too small.
Now it’s winter. It’s very cold and there’s a lot of snow.One day Ugly Duckling sees a bad man.-Come here, little bird. I want to eat you.!Ugly Duckling jumps. Look he can fly. Ugly Duckling flies away and hides.
-Those birds are beautiful, but I’m ugly.-Ugly Duckling wants to talk to the white birds.-Hello, I’m ugly but please be my friends.-Hello, little brother!- say the White Birds
-Brother? I’m not your brother. You’re beautiful and I’m ugly.-You’re not ugly. -Look at your face in the water.-You’re beautiful.
Three children see the swans.-Look, look there’s a new swan!-He’s beautiful.-Let’s give them some bread!-I’m a swan!- shouts the Ugly Duckling.
