Calibration status • - Procedure for Z->ee calibration of HF was finalized • Review at the HCAL DPG (next Monday) • Documentation is under preparation • Special cases: towers 29, 40, 41 • - Procedure for HPD gains drift compensation is at the final path • (next slide) • - We are writing documentation (DN) for our calibration channel.
Calibration status: drift of HPD’s signal Pawel , Dima, Vladimir Reference point: Oct-7-2010, r147407 Check points: each Month Cnew=Cold/LED(i)/LED(0) IOVs are created Blue-before, Green-after corrections To do: - clean the procedure - check with phisym analyses (re-reco with new gains)
Timing alignment issues • Richard informed about timing instability of some • readouts – discussion is foreseen on Monday HCAL • DPG • - will affect reconstruction, especially in the case of reducing number of time slices. How much? • - what is the fraction of such channels? • - possible reasons? • - possibility to monitor?
25 ns WG • Phase setting • For 25 ns: • - keep 50/50-7ns for HF • - remove single-jet HF trigger • For 50 ns high PU: • - keep 50/50-7ns for HF • - BX-1 veto • - HF size reduction • Changing readout from 5 to 4 TS in HF will help to avoid the data format change.
