  1. Metaphorical Me: Step 1 • Choose a theme and write several interesting metaphors about yourself. • They can be physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, behavioral, relational… anything! • Must elaborated fully • You must write at least 15 metaphors

  2. Metaphorical Me: Step 2 • Peer edit your metaphors with a partner. • Choose at least 10 Metaphors from your list to highlight. • Type a final draft to go along with your project.

  3. Metaphorical Me: Step 3 • Create a 3D representation using objects that symbolize your metaphors. • It can look like anything or nothing at all. However, if you come with a shoebox full of trinkets, do not expect a 3 or 4. • Make sure that your objects do not fall apart! You will need to able to explain each representation. • No visible tape, etc.

  4. Examples of 3D Representations • I have some students that are making… • A video game console • A Ferris Wheel • A boat • Each of these is either made out of their metaphor objects or will contain parts of their metaphor objects. • Be as creative as possible!

  5. Metaphorical Me: Step 4 • Starting Monday, September 23, We will begin presenting our Metaphorical Me Projects. • Please put some effort into this presentation
