  2. ¿CUANDO SE ORIGINO EL REGGAETON? • Las raíces del reggaetón empezaron en Panamá en los años 1970, luego fue evolucionado y modernizado en Puerto Rico en los años 1990 donde recibió su nombre. El reggaetón empieza como una adaptación del reggae jamaiquino (y del posterior dancehall jamaiquino) a la cultura hispana en Panamá. • El nombre de reggaetón sólo fue predominado en la década de 1990 (desde el periodo de 1994 hasta el 1995) con el beat DemBow que caracteriza a éste género, que es más un contraste del reggae, dancehall, y derivados del hip hop con pistas que fueron previamente ya creadas
