Three Trucks to replace • 5532 – 1985 Chevy 1 ton Brush Truck • 5544 – 1975 Ford 9000 2,500 gal tender • 5503 – 1981 Mack Engine • Note; There may be an argument of keeping 5503 and sending • 5533, the CSFS Truck back. 5503 has greater firefighting capacity than the converted military 6x6

Pierce -- Distributor located in Frederick, CO • 6. Blanchat Mfg. has some interesting features for a Brush Truck -- Located in KansasBlanchat brought a truck to us to see in our District 6-17-2012 • 7. FiroVac has a unique vacuum tank vs a regular tank -- FiroVac will bring a truck for us to see in our District in July • 8. Tulsa Truck -- 4X4 Conversions • 9. MHC, KENWORTH Dealer in Denver • 10. BRUSH TRUCK PRELIMINARY SPECS • 1. Ford F-550 XL Vermillion Red has been selected as the chassis for the brush truck • a. Has 19,500 lb GVWR -- Dodge also offers this load carrying capacity but does not offer extended cab. It also doesn't offer other desired features • b. 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel engine • c. 6-Speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission-O/D • d. 4X4 • e. 4.88 Limited Slip Axle Ration • f. Comes with dual rear wheels but we may convert to single rear wheel for better off road performance • g. 6" Black Molded running boards • h. Transmission Power Take-Off Provision This will depend on if we need this feature • i.
