Some statistics • About 140 students • 69% Finnish – 31% International students • 10 positions funded by the ministry of education • 11-14 PhD degrees per year (last 5 years) • Graduates • 90 PhD degrees 2002- (73% funding from COMAS) • 63% Finnish – 37% International students • >50% in Jyväskylä • <15% in Helsinki area, >15% abroad • >40% in private sector • >40% in a university
