  2. What is Science Fiction? • Science Fiction  takes correct scientific information and puts it in situations that are not necessarily realistic yet. • It is fiction that differs from our everyday life but uses scientific theories and

  3. What is Science Fiction? • Some ideas may use scientific information but may not be possible. • To be considered Science Fiction it has to have some kind of information based on scientific info or theory.

  4. Science vs. Realistic Fiction • Realistic Fiction uses a made up story based on real information including: • People • Places • Events • The events that go on in the story could actually happen in life. • They simulate real life.
