  5. Extrapolation(Imagine a probable world) • Elements that we can relate to mixed with other futuristic touches that make it look like it could happen  Flying cars stuck in traffic

  6. Other places (planet, dimensions, etc.) • Outer Space • Other galaxies • Alien planets • Alternative Realities(alternative pasts)

  7. Catastrophes • After major disasters • Nuclear wars • Meteor crashing • Ice melting from the poles

  8. Social Criticism • Analyzing and noting problems of a society…..in the case of Science Fiction it serves as a warning of what is to come unless the world changes its ways.
