  1. Luego de un tenso silencio, el mago lo miró y dijo: - No puedo precisarte la fecha, lo que si puedo asegurarte, es que el día que yo muera, tú también fallecerás. El rey queda impactado ante la respuesta. De momento no sabe que hacer y para disimular su miedo, rápidamente llama la atención de los invitados ofreciendo un brindis, pidiéndoles que se diviertan y disfruten del gran banquete. Días después, el rey mandó llamar al mago para invitarlo a vivir con él en su gran castillo, el mago con una sonrisa, responde que sí. Y fue así, que a partir de ese día el mago tuvo una gran vida, llena de lujos y atenciones.
