What the legislation says………. • HWBs must undertake a consultation for a minimum of 60 days • Stakeholders must be consulted at least once during the process of making the assessment on a draft of the proposed PNA
Who must be consulted…. • Local pharmaceutical committee • Local medical committee (LMC) • Any persons on the pharmaceutical lists • Dispensing GP practices • Healthwatch
Who must be consulted …. • Any other patient, consumer and community group which in the opinion of the HWB has an interest in the provision of pharmaceutical services in its area. • Any NHS trust or NHS foundation trust in the HWB area.
