  1. Spanish Club Meeting Wednesday, January 29, 2014 Señora Zook’s Room

  2. Fiesta! • Our OVERDUE fiesta will be held February 13, 2014. • 2:30pm-3:30/4pm • Bring in food and drinks! • Try different Spanish recipes (see Zook if you want a recipe).

  3. Yearbook Picture Yearbook Staff will be at our Fiesta on February 13th to take our club picture!

  4. Art • Sign up sheet. • We have canvas and paint. • When finished the canvas will hang in the World Language wing • Involve other clubs if we want! • Ex: Eiffel Tower for French, Sagrada Familia for Spanish • Dates: • Every Tuesday and Thursday; 2:30 – 3:30 • February 18&20 • February 25&27 • March 4&6 • March 11&13 • March 18&20 • NEED 4 OR 5 PEOPLE PER DAY!

  5. Coffee • Thanks so much for selling! • We have 8 coffee packs left: • Medium/Dark Ground • $11 per bag • ASK TEACHERS OR FRIENDS!

  6. Movie Day • Señora wants to have another movie day! • Video Suggestions? • After school – choose date.

  7. Alebrije Trip • At the end of year, we will take a trip after school to Alebrije for dinner. • Date to come!

  8. Craft/Food • We will have a craft and food day – Spanish themed! • We will by supplies for worry dolls, Day of the Dead skulls, and other crafts unique to the Latin American culture. • Also, we would like to plan a day to learn about how very popular Spanish themes dishes are created! • Recipes for REAL salsa, quesadillas, flan! • Ask Wallace for a day to use her kitchen.

  9. Europe Trip • Señora will announce trip to England, Spain and France. • Summer 2015?

  10. Housekeeping • We have 2 XLG Spanish Club T-Shirts still for sale!
