Needs of your son or daughter • In order to learn a pupil has to feel safe, secure, listened to and respected. • Work starts in primary school through the transition programme. • In secondary every pupil belongs to a House led by a Guidance teacher. • Every week your child will have a PSE class. • Every week your child will now be part of a mentoring programme

Support systems • Buddy system • Cause for concerns • 1-1 meetings with guidance • Support Timetables • Meetings with parents • 1-1 support • S1 Drop In Club • Small group support • Restorative Practice • Seasons for Growth • IST – Internal Support Team • JST – Joint Support Team • Extended Outreach

  11. Getting it Right for Every Child .. • ..will support and facilitate the removal of obstacles that can block children getting the best start in life through their journey from birth to adulthood.
