Progress • Pulser sync problem resolved • No LVDS Trigger pulse from ARC VME Controller board • Discovered ARC VME Controller board assembly error • Complete 4 Hybrid-PA Test time of 42 min CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
Progress • Complete testing of newly bonded Hybrid/PA’s • Hybrid 30216711500708 • Introduced intentional open wire-bonds in one Hybrid/PA which were detected during testing. CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
Pulser Troubleshooting • Pulser had been triggering on noise. Needs to be synchronized with ARC Clock . • Twisted cable from ARC Controller card used • Eliminated noise in UCSB LVDS/CMOS Converter • No LVDS signals from ARC Controller Card CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
ARC Controller Problem • LVDS Driver and LVDS Receiver U32 and U33 were switched during board assembly. Problem was never discovered. • External Buss connector and associated IC’s on lower left of photo. U32 CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
ARC Controller Problem • ARC Controller Boards with functioning External Buss • Ser 29 • Ser 31 • U32 and U33 Switched on these boards causing inoperative External Buss function. • Ser 56 • Ser 57 • Ser 59 CMS 4-Hybrid Test System Sam Burke EE
