  3. What kind of Drug is Alcohol Alcohol is a depressant drug. The affects of this drug slow down your body and mind making it harder to make wise decisions.

  4. Why are drugs classified as depressants and what does that include? Depressant slow down the central nervous system. Other depressant drugs include heroin, morphine, barbiturates, and methadone. Heroin

  5. The Positives Alcohol can make you feel more outgoing, talkative, and sociable. However this is because it lowers your inhibitions Some studies show that a small amount of alcohol each day (around 1-2 glasses a day) can prevent against certain cardiovascular disease.

How can the drug be taken into the body? • Alcohol is almost always consumed through the mouth and swallowed. • However, AWOL (Alcohol With Out Liquid) is making its rounds in the British nightlife area. You inhale alcohol with a tube, causing a euphoric high and no hangover. Also in rare medical cases, alcohol is intravenously given through an IV.

Drinking & Driving Driving while either intoxicated or drunk is dangerous and drivers with high blood alcohol content or concentration (BAC) are at greatly increased risk of car accidents, highway injuries and vehicular deaths. (Obviously some drink less or none at all, and others drink much more). • The more education a person has, the more likely they are to drink. • The wealthier a person is, the more likely they are to drink. • The country of Luxemburg has the highest per capita consumption of alcohol, followed by Hungary, Ireland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. The U.S. comes in 26th on the list. • Every day an average of 11,318 teens try alcohol for the first time. • Alcoholism costs the U.S. between 40 and 60 billion dollars per year.

According to TMZ(who got their hands on Wayne’s probation documents), Lil Wayne is not allowed to consume one single drop of alcohol, prohibited from knowingly associating with any person engaged in criminal activity or any person with a criminal record, and cannot possess illegal drugs, toxic vapors or controlled substances for the next 36 months. If he violates any of these terms, then he could be sent back to prison to serve out the remainder of his term. Lil Wayne will also be required to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.   18. We believe that alcohol is good as it is with the drinking age being 21. However, improving alcohol awareness in other countries would be ideal.
