  27. PROJECT PLAN Define Proposal DEFINE THE PROBLEM MAINTAIN SUCCESS The main objective of this phase is to ensure that the new tow bars will guarantee an increased productivity. Control phase will maintain the changes and ensure that the process is carried out consistently. FOLDING TOW BAR PROPOSAL

  28. DEFINE THE PROBLEM MAINTENANCE Define STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE The new folding tow bars will be labeled according to the assigned mule number. The On-the-Job Instructor (OJI) will provide new training for the proper use of the new folding tow bar. This will help mule operators learn how to make necessary driving adjustments to adapt with the use of the new folding tow bar. Periodic survey assessment will be conducted to address the concerns of mule operators for possible modifications. FOLDING TOW BAR PROPOSAL

  29. DEFINE THE PROBLEM SOP Define STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE The folding tow bars will be monitored. Any folding tow bar that requires repair work will be recorded for future reference. Additional refresher training may be needed for mule operators with more than one accidents or tow bar repair work requests. A container located by the new MVS office will be used for damaged universal and folding tow bars. Replacements are available upon request to the OJI or designee. FOLDING TOW BAR PROPOSAL
