Prayer • Mission: to facilitate an atmosphere to help our students live out God’s message of love. • Instill respect in all we do!! If you want respect you need to give it. • Provide a place where all students can learn and grow in God’s love. • Prayer will begin and end each day, as well as each class period.
Reminders • School arrival: After 8:30 a late slip is required • Dress code: policy in school handbook. This policy needs to be followed at all times. • Absent: All work will be recorded for the student, and need to be completed promptly upon return. Work can be sent home with a sibling. • Books need to be covered and taken care of. • Please send in a note when child’s departure routine changes.
Homework • Students are responsible for writing their homework in their assignment book before leaving each class. • Homework is always posted on side board. • All tests and quizzes are found on large chalk board. • Progress Reports are sent home mid-trimester. • Test folders are sent home on Friday. Student is expected to bring the folder back on Monday with all tests signed. • Homework will also be posted daily on Grade Connect.
Snack • Students may purchase a pretzel on a daily basis or bring in a snack from home. • Students will have recess at the beginning of 3rd period. • Water bottles are permitted and encouraged. These bottles need to be labeled with their name.

Grade Connect • www.gradeconnectelementary.com • It is an online website where all grades, and course outlines will be visible for everyone to see. • Grade connect can be accessed from anywhere there is an internet connection. • Every student and parent will receive a username and password. • Grades will be posted weekly.
