I have chosen to incorporate together my second and third idea for my video My two initial ideas that I shall be incorporating are: Idea 2 • Pepsi taking control over your life, Pepsi is everything the character looks at, people clothing objects etc. character takes a sip and then goes out to make everything look like Pepsi for a friend to see and drink. Idea 3 • Pepsi power. Pepsi seems to have a life of its own, the cans are following “rolling” towards the character swarming him in Pepsi until he drinks it and joins the force. Breaking coke cans and emptying a bottle of Pepsi on a random person who is drinking coke, so the person desires Pepsi instead.

  3. First Pitch • Opening scene- the person is casually walking down the street drinking a can of coke when multiple cans of bottles and cans of Pepsi on the pavement, road and walls. The character is puzzled but continues to walk on. The character then turns around to the sound of a Pepsi can rolling but as they see it it stops moving. This action recurs three times each time getting closer until the can rolls under the persons foot tripping them up. As the person lifts up their head they see several cans and bottles lined up in front of their face and as they look around they see symbols and cans of Pepsi everywhere. The person looks forward to the sound of a crushing can and they see in front of their face that the coke can has been crushed by the Pepsi army. The can then opens with an added non-digetic “ahhhhh” sound and the puzzled person then picks up the can and nervously takes a sip. This is when the scene ends and a Pepsi logo and banner appear on screen with the slogan “Refreshing the world”.

  4. What I will need? My project is fortunately simple so I wont be requiring too much or anything complicated to produce my project. I will need: • A cast of one to play as the only character • I will need two cameramen to film from multiple angles • I will also need a props master for the movement of the Pepsi cans off camera. • A tripod • Two video cameras • At least 20 cans/bottles of Pepsi • A can ok coke

  5. How will I do this? Most shots I will use will be medium shots of the person, then close up and zooming in of the Pepsi products. I will film on a quiet street in Guildensutton, this is close to me and is quite open for filming and use of a variety of angles. The prop master will use stop motion techniques and off camera movement of the Pepsi products to give them the appearance that they are moving. Once I have my full crew decided I will create a Facebook group where I can fully organize and keep everyone posted on filming dates etc. Costumes will be just regular casual clothes so whatever the actor chooses to wear will be sufficient.
