A mixed-use academic village that responds to the University’s faculty, staff and student body, as well as corporate and government affiliates, whose presence add to its vigor and effectiveness.
Part of North Carolina State University Program-related Partnerships required Diversity of Partners 1,334 acres (1,120 Centennial Campus + 214 CentennialBiomedical Campus)
CentennialBiomedicalCampus • Approximately 32 building sites available, including 5 parking decks • 250 acres of land • Construction of an additional 1.6 million square feet of space over the next 25 years, resulting in a five-fold expansion of space
At present: 1,600 corporate and government employees 1,350 university faculty, staff and post-docs ~ 2,500 university students – College of Engineering relocation in progress 600 middle school students Population
Current Population: • 73 NCSU Research Centers, Institutes, Labs & other departmental units, including NCSU Technology Incubator • 62 Corporate & Government entities, including: • 15 Start ups • 11 Small Businesses • 12 Major Corporations • 10 Government Agencies • 11 Nonprofit Agencies • 3 Service Companies Each has a relationship with at least one NCSU unit
