How Recycling Helps Recycling helps with preventing pollution because it uses less fossil fuels, that could eventually harm the environment, How? Conserve your driving During the Summer, turn of the air conditioning off and roll down the windows (it uses less gas) Use public transportation (like busses and the Front Runner) as much as possible Not making a trip to the store for only one small item Driving less sends less gasses into the air Ways to drive less are: Walking whenever you can Avoid Drive-Thrus (it waste gas) Carpooling

Idling a car for ten minutes can send a pound of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere Idling your car for 2 minutes can waste a mile of gas!
