  2. East Africa has been faced with the worst food crisis of the 21st Century. Across Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya, 12 million people have been affected.

  3. The Christian and Missionary Alliance has responded through our partnership with theCanadian Foodgrains Bank- a group of 15 denominations or church-based agencies committed to responding to world hunger.

  4. We committed $105,000 matched 4:1 by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) becoming a $525,000 donation tosupport a food aid programs run by: Christian Reformed World Relief Committee And Food for the Hungry

  5. Donations to the C&MA’s • “Food Aid” fund • will enable us to contribute to more food aid programs
