  1. The Brief By Bethany Dennett

  2. My Idea • My idea is to create a portfolio of images that represent peoples emotions and feelings. I do not want to do this drastically, so I will not use pictures of major sadness or happiness. I will use pictures of natural, candid poses of happiness, sadness and loneliness along with others.

  3. Costs and Requirements • I will come across several costs along the way, for instance, costs to get me to where I need to be. I will also need to have a camera, a tripod and props to use. However, in most of my photos I do not want to use props, to keep them simple and open to being edited. I will need a cast list, people that I wish to photograph, especially as they will be candid, the people will need to be aware before hand.

  4. Target Audience • The target audience will be people who enjoy photography, as my portfolio Is created for prospective clients to see what I am like and what my photography style is. I will be aiming at companies and co-operations who are hiring photographers for adverts or posters. I will also acknowledge your target audience when it comes to your choice about the advertisements. I will do this so that you can have maximum creative control about your campaign.

  5. Questions • What sort of photography style would you like the photos to be taken in? • Do you prefer simple images or more complex images? • What sort of person would you rather have, unusual looking people or normal looking people? • How many advertisements would you like to have, and for what mediums? • Who do you want to aim your advertisement/s at? • What sort of company are you? E.g. Retail, insurance, business? • What effect would you like the ad/s to have on consumers; to see your company in a new light, or to make them spend the most money? • Who would you like the advertisement/s to be directed too? • What sort of things would you like to include on your advertisement/s?
