MYTH BUSTERS: THE HOLY SPIRIT is NOT: • a What, he is a WHO; • The Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit is a Person., not a human, but a Person. • Original Greek explicitly depicts Him as a He, every pronoun used refers to Hê, not It.. • Word used in the New testament is “Pneuma”, Spirit, breath of God. • John 15:26: “When the Counselor comes, I will send to you, the Spirit of Truth…”

Can be grieved and only God can be sinned against.. • Acts 10: 19 – 21 states that we must obey the Spirit of God • Psalm 51:11 teaches us that wê must honour the Holy Spirit • Genesis 1:21 teaches us that the Holy Spirit was involved in Creation

  14. The Person. Of the Holy Spirit Romans 8:14: “The Children of God will be LED by the Spirit of God..” As a child of God your life should also show the fruit of the Spirit, which is: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Fruitfulness, Gentleness and Self-control.
