Preventing the contraction of a noncommunicable disease • Nutritious diet • 45 minutes of activity per day at an intensity level of 75% of your Maximum Heart Rate (Max HR) • Maintain a healthy weight • Get enough sleep – 8 hrs. per night • Manage stress positively • Avoid using alcohol, tobacco and other drugs • Stay educated and informed • Make positive decisions
