Connectors, Mavens, and Salesmen The Tipping Point By Malcolm Gladwell
The Law Of The Few • “ In a social epidemic, mavens are data banks. They provide the message. Connectors are social glue: they spread it. But there is also a select group of people—Salesmen—with skills to persuade us when we are unconvinced of what we are hearing, and they are as critical to the tipping of word—of—mouth epidemics as the other two groups (Gladwell,70).”
Connectors Agree • “ Perhaps it is best to call the Connectors impulse simply that—an impulse, just one of the many personality traits that distinguish one human being from another (Gladwell,46)” • Connectors are those people who are extroverts they are the out going people in life. They converse with many people from all walks of life. Such as George Gershwin.
