Rules • Updates to IRI geographies* will be made only once a quarter. • When a request is made, it will be held until the next quarterly update. • The budget must remain “neutral”. • All new geography additions must be accompanied by potential swaps or deletions identified by the requester. • Rationale must be provided for each new geography as well as for each deletion. • A new geography request form will be provided. * “Geographies” refers to any RMA, C-RMA, State or Market

Rules, cont’d… • Geography changes must be approved by Sales Operations, BU Chain Directors, and NA Channel VPs. • Due to our contract with Constellation, certain geographies cannot be deleted, including: • All Kroger RMAs and C-RMAs • All Safeway RMAs and C-RMAs • All SuperValu RMAs and C-RMAs • Certain States / Markets • Liquor RMAs

  4. How to Request a New Geography • All requests for geography changes must come from BU Chain Directors or National Accounts Channel VPs. • Any requests for multiple new geographies must be prioritized in order of importance. • An explanation / business case for each new geography is required. • Potential “swaps” or “deletions” must be identified. All requests must be made using the Geography Request form.
