  3. Claim to Fame • In the late 80s tried out for show time at the Apollo • Approached to join the Fugees by fellow high schooler • Nicknamed “L Boogie”

  4. The Fugees • The Fugees consisted of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Prakazrel Michel • Made hits such as the Fu-Gee-La , Ready or Not(here I come), and Killing me Softly • Disbanded in 1997 • 2007 rated 9th greatest hip-hop group of all time
