IRU TIR Electronic Pre-Declarationin use TIR transports entering or starting in EU without using IRU TIR-EPD are subject to: Recourse to third parties at borders Additional procedures at borders → waiting time Additional cost (up to 120 € per truck) TIR transports entering or starting in EU by using IRU TIR-EPD are carried out free of charge and under complete control of the Holder (c) International Road Transport Union (IRU) 2011
