More than 18 inches of rain in the summer. Ocean and the wind are two big factors of why the temperature and climate change so much in this biome.
Flora • Examples are Common Lime, Lady Fern, Oak, Northern Arrowwood, Pecan. • Grows best in deep and moist soils. • Some need sunlight. • Reproduction happens in early summer. • <Dutchman’s-breeches.

Value in big Biosphere biggest ecological value is the change brought by the progression of the seasons. In the summer the forest is aliveand haslong day lengths and warm temperatures. In the fall the trees pull back what nutrients they can from their leaves, and put waste materials into the leaves, which then drop off.
