Temperature • The average annual temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit – about 70 in the summer and just below freezing in the winter • The temperate deciduous forest has all four seasons – the leaves change in the fall and are gone by winter.
Rainfall • The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches a year. • There is about 14 inches of rain in the summer and about 18 inches of rain in the winter.
