  5. PTO Membership • PTO membership is FREE. We want to build our school community and encourage everyone to join in to support our teachers, staff and students. • Please join online or complete the purple Membership Form to be on the email list for PTO updates and volunteer opportunities.

  6. Volunteer Announcements Without volunteers we would not be a successful organization! We are looking for volunteers to help with our fall events: Box Tops, Turkey Trot, Holiday Shop and Holiday Bazaar. We still need committee chairs for Spirit Days and the Shamrock Hop. Contact Erin Gaddis at vpvolunteers@evergreenpto.org to be placed on the volunteer list

How can you stay connected • Please visit our website www.evergreenpto.org • Sign up for our Facebook group • Complete the Membership Form including your email. • We will publish a monthly newsletter on our website at the beginning of each month. You can request a paper copy if you do not have email/internet access. • We will have Teacher Wish Lists up on the website by the end of October.

Show your EES Spirit • Spirit and House Shirt orders should be delivered by middle of October.These shirts can be worn any time, but especially on: • Friday Spirit Days • Special Events in the school • Field Trips • We have a limited supply of shirts as well as EES Magnets and Tick Keys available for purchase tonight.

  11. Fundraising for the school • Quick and simple ways: • The BoxTop Collection is going on now through October 5. Collection sheets websites can be found at the PTO website. • Please sign up your store cards (Target, Giant, McKay’s) to give back to EES. We will have information on our website.

  12. Fundraising at Work • PTO Fundraising dollars go right back to EES to support staff and teachers • Playground shade; playground protective mats • Playground equipment (balls, jump ropes, hula hoops) • Books • Teacher materials for instruction • Author visits • Celebrations for student achievement • Parking lot barriers • Carpets in classrooms
