  1. Embed Codes Overview: Inserting pictures and video in the “About The Deal” section takes a certain comfort level with using HTML embed codes. We have included below the most common codes below. With this information, you should be able to: • Insert a picture into your deal • Insert a video into your deal To Finish: Insert the embed code inside the text of the About The Deal section where you wish the video or image to appear. I can be in the beginning, the end or the middle of the text. Always view your page after you save the text so you can see how it will appear on the site. In the codes below, the lines highlighted in RED should be replaced by your local image or file. These files can only be represented by a web address. If you have a file saved on your computer, it must be uploaded to a file sharing server and converted to a URL before you can add it to the code. Your digital department has access to all the tools to do this. If you don't want this, just remove target="_new" Code for Image Hyperlink <a href="http://www.getmyperks.com" target="_new"><imgsrc="images/name_of_image.jpg" alt=“Change This Text To Describe The Image" /></a> YouTube To embed a YouTube video, click on the the "Embed" button on the page with the video that you want to embed. It is on the bottom left. After clicking "Embed", the code is displayed and is selected. Just copy it and paste it into your HTML editor where you want the video to appear, and you're done. Brightcove Video The same process for a YouTube video exists with the Brightcove videos we use in-house. There is an included embed code you can copy and past into your description field that will produce the video on the website.
