A good researcher must dig to find words that help answer the research questions. He or she must toss aside the unnecessary sentences, phrases, and words. The unnecessary words do not help answer the question.
“A note is a “fact fragment”- a piece of information that will become a complete thought in the final project.”
When taking notes remember…. • Make a new card for each question • Write your question number on the top of the card. • Write down only important words. • Do NOT copy sentences! That is PLAGARISM • On the Back of the card write a sentence or sentences that will answer the questions using the important words on the front of the card. • Give Credit
