Note-taking: How to note • Diagonal lay-out (shift/decalage) • Left-hand margin: links • Verticality of lists • Abbreviations and symbols: frequent, links, tenses, stress, arrows, suffixes • Language: source or target or both
Note-taking: When to note • Wait for complete ideas • Start immediately for lists, numbers, … • Reading notes: communication, like pianists
