Athletics are seen as a privilege. All programs are number dependent. GO CHIEFS!

2. AMSAC(Arrowhead Middle School Athletic Conference) • All Stone Bank teams participate in the AMSAC conference which features the following schools: Erin (E), Friess Lake (FL), Lake Country (LC), Merton (M), North Lake (NL), North Shore (NS), Richmond (R), Stone Bank (SB), and Swallow (SW). Stone Bank will also participate in tournaments with teams from around the area. On your schedules, teams will be listed by their initials instead of names. If a team has multiple names, it will be listed with the school’s initials and its’ color (example SBR,Stone Bank Red).

3. Cooperative Programs Offered AMSAC Cooperative Programs The AMSAC conference provide cooperative programs in the following sports: cross country, golf, gymnastics, track, and wrestling. Cross country operates during the fall. Gymnastics and wrestling operate in the winter. Track and golf are offered in the spring. These programs are typically run through the high school and guided by the knowledge of the high school coaches. Please leave the playing to the kids, the coaching to the coaches, and the officiating to the referees. If you experience any incidents, please resolve them through the proper lines of communication.

5. Stone Bank Sports Girls’ Basketball Girls’ basketball is open to any Stone Bank students in Grades 5-8. Athletes participate against other AMSAC member schools. The season usually starts the first week of October and ends in the middle of December. There is a fee of $50 to play. Boys’ Basketball Boys’ basketball is open to any Stone Bank students in Grades 5-8. Athletes participate against other AMSAC member schools. The season usually starts the first day back from Christmas vacation and ends in early March. There is a fee of $50 to play. Cheerleading Cheerleading and dance will run at the same time as boys’ basketball. TBD is the coach and can advise you of any information that is related to cheerleading. General Information can be found on the school’s web site. There is a fee of $30 to play. Spirit Squad / Middle School Cheerleading Spirit Squad is an opportunity to engage Stone bank students in school activities. Students get to make locker signs for each sport throughout the year. Students also get to make banners that will be hung in the middle school hallway. This organization using runs in tandem with the cheerleading squad. Girls’ Volleyball Girls’ volleyball is open to any Stone Bank students in Grades 6-8. Athletes participate against other AMSAC member schools. The season usually starts the second week of March and ends in the middle of the month of May. There is a fee of $50 to play.

6. More Stone Bank Sports Boys’ Volleyball Boys’ volleyball is open to any Stone Bank students in Grades 6-8. Athletes participate against other AMSAC member schools. The season usually starts the second week of March and ends in the middle of the month of May. There is a fee of $50 to play. Kickball Kickball is open to any Stone Bank students in Grades 1-3. Athletes participate against other Stone Bank students in an intramural program that encourages fair play, sportsmanship, and a general understanding of the rules of kickball. The programs runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 3:30 during the month of May. There is no fee for this program. Summer Open Gyms Basketball Open gyms are offered in the sport of basketball on Monday and Wednesdays during the months of July and August. Participant Numbers determine whether or not this program is offered on a yearly basis. Coaches schedules also affect when and where these programs will be offered or if they will be offered at all. Faculty Advisor: Mr. Green Mission Statement Stone Bank Booster Club exists to enhance the current athletic and extra-curricular program funded by the school district for the activities including, but not limited to basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and other sponsored activities providing additional funding for uniforms and equipment, tournaments, sports clinics, and other needs. SBBC also exists to increase and add to school spirit.

Banquets / Volunteer Info / And New Member Info Banquet and Tournament Help It is the expectation that every parent that has a child in athletics, no matter the sport, volunteers two hours of their time to help at tournaments and banquets so that the athletic department can continue to run successful events. New members The Stone Bank Booster Club is always looking for new members.
