Shop With An Eagle: • Etowah students and faculty will hold several fundraising activities during the month of November • Underprivileged children in the Etowah Innovation Zone will be invited to a breakfast/celebration with student mentors, who will then take them shopping • For this program to be successful, we need EVERYONE’S help!   5. What memories do you have of Christmas when you were little? What if you didn’t have any presents under the tree? What if all you wanted for Christmas was a warm coat or a blanket for your bed? Free template from www.brainybetty.com

  6. HOW CAN YOU HELP? ONE WAY: If every Etowah student gave up one snack or drink from the vending machines today, our school would raise $2200.00, allowing us to help 22 children in need this Christmas!!!! Free template from www.brainybetty.com

What is the time commitment for Mentors? • Active involvement in fundraising activities throughout the month of November • Tuesday, 11/29: mentor meeting 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm • Friday, 12/2: SWAE set-up and decoration (2:45 pm to 5:00 pm) • Saturday, 12/3: SWAE event and clean-up (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) Free template from www.brainybetty.com

HOW TO APPLY: • Pick up an application from your advisor OR the front office OR counseling office • Complete the application • Have teachers complete and turn in your recommendations – one for each of your classes • Turn in your shirt size AND $15.00 for your t-shirt 5) Turn in your completed application by October 28. How to get involved: • Get your club or organization to hold a fundraiser for S.W.A.E. in November • Complete a mentor application • Support the fundraisers that will be going on at Etowah The more money we raise, the more children we can include!
