Mazovian Unit for Implementation of EU Programmes is an institution set up by the Parliament of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in order to assure efficiency and correctness of EU funds implementation during the programming period 2007 – 2013. Mazovian Unit for Implementation of EU Programmes is responsible for the implementation of the regional component of the Human Capital Operational Programme (HC OP), which is coo-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).
EUROBUS - mobile information and education centre in Mazovia. EUROBUS in 2008 and 2009 it visited more then 23 boroughs in Mazoviavillages and cities. Every time: Numerous individual consultations concerning the EU programmes took place. Information points were visited by several hundred of people of whom all received promotional and informational materials Logo of the two EU programmes (HC OP) has become visible and recognisable by several thousand of people.
EUROBUS has visited local events devoted to the subject of EU integration or which were crucial for the region. All of them were organised by local authorities. The campaign has become a tremendous opportunity for promotion of the EU programme thanks to the involvement of employees of the Mazovian Unit for Implementation of EU Programmes, openness of the local authorities and support from the Board of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

Character of the EUROBUS campaign: educational, promotional and informational. It was realised through: EDUCATION, that is general presentation of information about the programmes (interactive character – short, individual consultations). PROMOTION, that is an increase in recognition of the EU Funds’ logos. INFORMATION, that is an exposure of contact details of the Mazovian Unit for Implementation of EU Programme and its local offices.

Frequently Asked Questions: • setting up of new businesses, self-employment, support for unemployed(HC OP 6.1, 6.2) • setting up of nurseries (HC OP 9.1.1).
The aim of the campaign was to create a coherent and positive image of the European Social Fund (ESF) in Mazovia, in order to assure the effectiveness of EU Funds’ implementation in the Mazowieckie Voivodship.
Effects of actions undertaken during the campaign: Increased awareness of inhabitants of Mazovia (on regional and local level) concerning the function of the EU Funds (ESF); Popularisation of the positive effects of EU Programmes implementation process and EU integration; Support for potential beneficiaries through professional information, motivation, consultation and trainings; Showing potential beneficiaries the possibilities of acquisition of EU financial assistance; Demonstrating potential beneficiaries how to apply for the EU financial assistance.
