  6. Jacques Cartier Country? France What? Explored the St. Lawrence River Valley (Quebec) Why? To colonize the New World

  7. Christopher Newport Country? England What? First European to reach the Fall Line of the James River Why? Discover riches and find a western sea route to Asia

  8. And Now For Your Adventure… Your task lies ahead. Are you ready?

Group Adventures Voyage 1: Create your own web of European explorers using Inspiration Voyage 2: Create you own European explorers web (Inspiration) and then create a Power point about their similarities and differences. Voyage 3: Create your own European explorers web (Inspiration) and then create a brochure (Publisher) to promote that explorer for his next adventure.
