Basic Qualities of Pantomime. Consistency : Objects must remain consistent in size & location (Set the stage mentally.). Accuracy: Lips must form actual words (not gibberish). Clarity: Keep the audience in mind. Movements and facial expressions must be seen by all.

Clarity: Keep the audience in mind. Movements and facial expressions must be seen by all.
Mood Appropriate: facial expressions must convey the appropriate emotion (visualize yourself as the character)
Exaggeration: • Resistance: the resistance of person against object must be exaggerated and made sharper and bigger than real life • Expressions & Gestures: gestures must be made bigger than real life.
Pantomime Story Lines • Keep it simple. Don’t overcomplicate the plot. • Tell a story. Follow a traditional plot line (with a beginning, middle, and end). • Be imaginative! Be creative and silly—have fun.
