  2. Mickey • Mickey Mouse was drawn by Walt Disney in 1927. • Walt had originally wanted to name him Mortimer Mouse but his wife didn’t like the name so she suggested Mickey Mouse. • Mickey Mouse’s first show that he appeared in was Steamboat Willie in 1928. Mouse

  3. Pluto • Pluto is Mickey Mouse’s pet dog and friend. • Pluto has starred in more than 30 cartoons with with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

  4. Minnie Mouse • Minnie Mouse first appeared in Steamboat Willie on November 18th 1928. • Minnie has never had her own cartoon series but has appeared in around 50 cartoons with Mickey Mouse and Pluto.

  5. Goofy • Goofy was created by Walt Disney in the 1930’s. • In 1939 the final change to Goofy’s appearance was made. • His really name is George Geef but his nickname is Goofy.

  6. Donald Duck • Donald Duck has about 50 of his own cartoons and has appeared in many others with Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. • Donald has three nephews named Huey, Duey and Luey and an Uncle Scrooge McDuck. • Donald is not very patient and has a bad temper.

  7. Daisy Duck • Daisy Duck is Donald Ducks girlfriend. • Daisy’s first appearance was in a Don Donald cartoon in 1937 in which she appeared in as a Mexican girl named Donna Duck.

  8. Chip and Dale first appeared in Private Pluto in 1947. • They appeared in many cartoons in the 1950’s with Donald Duck. • Until they finally got their own cartoon series in 1989 called Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers.
