  5. EU's regulation to fight IUU EU will enforce a new regime to combat IUU starting 1. January 2010. Wild caught seafood products will not be allowed to enter EU after that, unless documentation clearly shows that the product is legal. Implementing routines to meet the regulation may incur massive paperwork unless computerized tools are employed.
