The class was tasked with constructing a wooden catapult capable of tossing a clay ball that was now mobile Define the problem
I know the catapult must be constructed using screws to ensure its stability as well as have wheels Brainstorm
The catapult must be made of woodMust be stableMust be able to fling a small ballCannot be may using a pre-made kitMust be mobile in some way Identify criteria and specify strengths:
I know I can use a rubberband on the catapult to ensure its powerful. Also rubberbands are more durable than strings. I can use wheels to make the catapult mobile Explore possibilities

The catapult was successful and the only problem was the rubberband snapped which can easily be replaced. The catapult was indeed mobile as well with the addition of the wheels Test and Evaluate the design using specifications
I tweaked the sketch to make it presentable Redefine the design
My design was very successful and was in compliance with all criteria Solution
The catapult was very durable, powerful, and was capable of moving with wheels. Results
