Culinary, Food & Nutrition • Total of 4 content area credits available • Third science credit can be achieved through successful completion of Food Science A & B. • AAFCS National Assessment currently being piloted • PROSTART assessment is available

Cooperative Work Experience (1/2 or 1 credit) • Must be enrolled concurrently in a Family & Consumer Sciences course. • 150 completed paid work hours = 1/2 credit • 300 completed paid work hours = 1 credit
Family and Consumer Sciences All Aspects of Industry • A minimum of 1/2 credit from each of the four specialty areas (total of 2 credits) • Combined total of 5 credits required selecting courses from any FACS course strands. • AAFCS National Assessment in Broad Field Family and Consumer Sciences is currently available.
