  3. What’s the truth? • I have a twin sister. • I can speak eight languages. • I just moved to South Korea last month. I have never been to Asia before. • I can play three instruments: piano, flute, and guitar. • I actually like eating Kimchi.

  5. About the Course • This is a speaking course. • Also focus on other skills: listening, reading, writing, grammar. • Talk about various topics (see next slide) • Individual, pair, and group work • Different course materials (textbook, online exercises, worksheets, audio and videotapes)

  6. Examples of Topics • Introducing yourself, talk about yourself, your childhood, and asking others • Asking for and giving information, transportation • Hopes, dreams, wishes • Favorite food • Describing technology; giving instructions.
